Celebration Festival
Saturday, June 28 – Festival, Parade & Fireworks
Summer Festival begins at 2 p.m. at the Firestone Park Community Center. Parade begins at
4 p.m. The Akron Symphony Orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. at Firestone Stadium
followed by fi reworks show at 9:45 p.m. Rain date: Sunday, June 29.For more

Be a part of the star-studded celebration! The special evening starts on the M.L.K.
Jr. Freeway as Acme Fresh Market Stores present a special performance by Soul’d Out
at 7:30 p.m.
Then look towards the sky as the City of Akron and Acme Fresh Market Stores present an
electrifying display of fi reworks at 9:45 p.m., synchronized to patriotic music provided
by WKDD 98.1 FM! Rain date: Saturday, July 5.
